We are a well-oiled machine. We are proud to have long-term staff members with very little turnover. With the skills necessary to work together to carry out an excellent job, we truly understand the meaning of the word "team." The staff members have been cross-trained and work together, covering for each other wherever there is a need, so that your total treatment is as flawless as possible.

Office Environment and Amenities

There is more to a spectacular orthodontic practice than stellar service and an office that puts you at ease. Our cozy and inviting office is equipped with a fun décor, ready warm beverages, and plenty of comfortable seating. We believe in going the extra mile and providing rewards for you. We have a point card system that allows active patients to accrue points that they can spend on prizes. Additionally, we love spicing things up with contests of all sorts - we almost always have one going on. One of our favorite patient appreciation activities is our annual bowling party. To date, we have had up to 600 patients and parents attend each year.

Technologically Savvy

We consider one of our most important duties is to offer you the highest quality of treatment available, so we take full advantage of the numerous technological and procedural advances in orthodontics that have risen over the years. We have consistently been on the leading edge of the newest proven technologies in the field. We were among the first to use lasers and provide SureSmile® treatment, and we are especially proud to be the first in Southern Illinois to offer 3-dimensional teeth imaging technology via the iTero scanner for Invisalign® patients.

Extended Family

Dr. Childers' Awards Scholarship

Dr. Childers started this award to recognize the importance of education while financially assisting an outstanding student. Kaitlyn Talley, pictured with Kate & Mason Childers, was the 2011 winner of the Bessie Childers' Scholarship. The scholarship was established in 2002 in honor of Dr. Childers' grandmother, a school teacher.

With our patients' help, twice a year we donate to the local food pantries. Our patients earn points on their Swipe and Smile cards while also giving back to the community. Thanks for all your help!
